Excel 3 - advanced data processing

In this course, you will learn how to perform more complex data processing and analyses in Excel. You will be introduced to practical shortcuts and learn to navigate large data sets efficiently.  

You will be introduced to lookup functions and pivot tables, which are effective tools for analyzing data and helping you spot patterns, comparisons, and trends in your data. 

In the course, you will receive: 

• A walkthrough of how to perform analyses using pivot tables. 
• Tools that enable you to easily extract data from large data sets using lookup functions. 
• Insights into how to work with large data sets efficiently for your studies or job. 

The teaching alternates between lectures and practical exercises. 

You must have Microsoft Excel 2016 or a newer version installed to participate in the course. If you have Office 365, you already have Excel. We recommend having the latest version of Excel installed on your computer as there might be minor challenges if using an older version.   

It does not matter whether you use Mac or Windows.  

For the online course, make sure your audio and webcam are working as you will interact with other participants. We start with a sound check fifteen minutes before the course begins.
